Those who want to destroy the public postal service by
saying that it is "bankrupt" are lying. The situation has been
manufactured by placing ridiculous, unnecessary financial
requirements on the postal service that no other company has
to abide by. Their aim is to turn it over to some major corporation,
which will make billions in profit while cutting service.
I agree with the hundreds of thousands of others who demand that there be no closings of post offices, layoffs of postal workers or a reduction of wages and benefits obtained by workers through the collective bargaining process.
