Support Program
Justice First is not a law firm, not does it provide legal advice. The Power for the People Support Program pairs our clients with a trained sponsor. Sponsors guide clients though the labyrinth of existing energy assistance programs, and negotiates with utility companies to obtain more affordable and manageable payment plans.
Our support program is made possible by dedicated volunteers who are trained in the policies and procedures of utility companies and government energy assistance programs. Our sponsors ensure that such policies and procedures are being applied uniformly and accurately, and that our clients are being treated fairly. Through the support program, our clients are able to maximize the benefits they can receive through existing programs.
The interests of our sponsors are solely that of our clients. Sponsors provide assurance, advice and consultation so that no one is facing multibillion dollar utility companies alone.
